CLU recently donated 30 laptops and 22 desktop computers to LMS. The University is refreshing many of their student and faculty computers, which are coming to us in great condition.
The PVSD tech department worked hard this summer to update the memory and software in the laptops so that they work like new.
- 17 of the desktops will be placed in classrooms, while 2 are going to the library and 3 to the Child Care room.
- 4 of the laptops were updated and are replacing the first teacher laptops the LMS PTA purchased nearly 3 years ago or going to one of our new teachers.
- The remaining laptops will be used as student computers in the 4th and 5th grade classrooms. Our goal is to provide each of those 7 classrooms with a “mini lab” that will give students easy access to collaborative work tools.
Special thanks to the Marselian family for facilitating the donation of all these computers.
