LM Alum Helps Kids Find What is Lost

Charlie Ketchum, of Troop 262, has completed his eagle project.  An eagle project is where a scout must plan, develop and give leadership in a service project that does not benefit himself or Boy Scout of America. Charlie chose to build lost and found boxes for La Mariposa and Tierra Linda Elementary schools, as he was aware of the need to store the lost and found items in a way that students could see the items, as well as keep the items organized.  He completed his project with the help of many volunteers that worked over 150 hours.

“I hope that the school’s lost and found items are now kept clean and off the ground, as well as that students find their missing items in a more timely manner.”

Charlie Ketchum attended Tierra Linda school in Kindergarten and 1st grade.  He then went to La Mariposa from 2nd – 5th.  He started in Cub Scout Pack 3831 as a Tiger.  He is now a Sophomore at ACHS.”
